Target audience, budget travelers looking for charm
The hotel had a lovely internal garden where I enjoyed a snack surrounded by plants , it was incredibly peaceful. Also , the decor was something special , with each room having its own character and my walls were adorned with beautiful murals !
It wasn't inexpensive , but acceptable for what we got.

Charming older building with unique decor made for a delightful stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making it easy to feel at home, while the dining options like light salads were enjoyable. However, the shared bathroom setup might not suit everyone, and the lack of high-end amenities could be a drawback for some. The noise level from the street was noticeable at times, but the overall ambiance made it worthwhile.

The location couldn't be better! It’s just a short walk to the Louvre, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They truly made our time enjoyable. I even slept better than I do at home, thanks to the comfy beds and quiet atmosphere.
In my wife’s opinion, the shared toilet situation was a bit challenging with kids. A family bathroom option would be fantastic.

The quirky character of Hotel de Nesle captured my attention immediately. Each room boasts unique decor, giving it a homey feel. My room had vintage railway posters and a stunning view over the rooftops. The staff greeted me warmly and were eager to help with anything I needed, which made my solo trip more enjoyable. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the Seine and various attractions like the Louvre. The shared bathrooms were clean, but they lacked some privacy. The winding staircase was charming, but a challenge with luggage. I had to climb several flights to reach my room, which might be tough for some. Unfortunately, I experienced a bit of noise from the street in the morning due to garbage trucks. Overall, I found it to be a delightful place to stay with a few quirks that add to the experience.

Characterized by its vintage charm, this hotel offers uniquely decorated rooms that provide a quaint Parisian experience. Proximity to key attractions makes it ideal for those looking to explore the vibrant city life.
No elevator means climbing steep, narrow stairs to reach your room, which can be a workout, especially with luggage. Many areas reflect the hotel's age—walls show cracks and carpets seem outdated, possibly detracting from the overall appeal. Some common spaces could use a thorough clean, given a few reports of inconsistent cleanliness, and the noise from the busy surroundings can disrupt your peace, especially late at night. Bathrooms, though private in some cases, might not meet expectations for hygiene and comfort, with issues like mold reported. Also, the lack of a breakfast option could leave some feeling dissatisfied when starting the day.
